Our team

People who understand why compassionate care matters.

Every board member has either said goodbye to a baby too soon or walked closely with someone who has. Together, they bring the experience and care needed to steward the mission.

Rachel Most with her husband, Paul

Rachel Most, RN, MABC

President, Founder, Director, Nurse Advocate

Rachel is a registered nurse and has a master’s degree in Biblical Counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary.

She has experienced three miscarriages and the stillbirth of two sons, Promise and Emmanuel. Together with her husband, Paul, and their four living children, she remembers and celebrates the gift of each life, however short.

Rachel uses her nursing experience, counseling training, and personal story to help mothers feel seen, heard, remembered, and cared for by their healthcare providers.

Megan Phyllicia Falt

Megan Phyllicia Falt

Director, Treasurer

Megan has a degree in Accounting and Finance from LeTourneau University. Several members of her family have experienced miscarriage, stillbirth, or infant loss.

She is passionate about honoring these children by remembering their lives, and she uses her accounting and finance experience to support their families.

Candice Scatliff

Candice Scatliff

Director, Secretary

Candice has a heart for coming alongside women with the love of Jesus and being present with them in the pain of losing a baby.

Her son Samuel was born still the same week as Rachel’s son Emmanuel. The bereavement care Candice received during labor and delivery helped make a traumatic experience less lonely and became an important part of Unspoken Motherhood’s story.

Together with her husband, Tom, and their four living sons, she celebrates Samuel’s life and place in their family.

Kaysha Paradis

Kaysha Paradis, RN

Director

With more than 20 years in emergency medicine, Kaysha believes in passionately advocating for patients and their families.

She values Unspoken Motherhood’s work to bring empathy, compassion, and advocacy into hospital systems and walk beside families through their darkest days.

Terri Ward

Terri Ward

Director

Terri has served in ministry for more than a decade. Her heart is to serve hurting people with compassion and care.

After seeing the pain and emptiness a family experiences following the birth of a stillborn child, she joined Unspoken Motherhood to help provide needed support at a critical time.
